INNERWESTLIFE sprang from the seeds of a four piece group put together in August 2006 by musical parents from Kegworth Public School in Inner West Sydney, for a fundraising event for stolen instruments.

With the addition of a brass section the band has since mutated into a seven piece monster of applied chaos. In November 2007, we inexplicably took out the inaugural Inner West Public Schools Parent Band Competition. 

Our first paid gig was the New South Wales Public Defenders Xmas party in December and in September 2008 we are booked to play the Sydney Region Music Festival at the Opera House.

Sadly, plans for our debut European wineries tour were scotched by threats of imminent divorce.

Musically our style veers wildly between classic soul & r'n'b to pop/rock with a handful of rootsy originals chucked into the mix.

We will play for beer/ wine/ dry cider & good tequila. ..
