Bar Attendant

Petersham Bowling Club

Petersham Bowling Club is a small, vibrant community Club and is environmentally friendly with no poker machines or professional bowls. 

The two bowling greens are used for social bowls; barefoot bowls functions; kids holiday school programs; kids parties and for general play. Functions, food, music and a great family venue are the main attractions of the Club.

Must have: RSA Certificate, 12 mths continuous current Bar Attendant experience, up to date product knowledge, current Résumé & Referees.

We are looking for a casual bar attendant for week nights and / or weekends. The successful applicant must have an RSA certificate, at least 1 year continuous experience and up to date product knowledge. Proven communication and problem-solving skills and exceptional customer service is essential.

Duties include:
- Cash Handling
- Clean and tidy bar areas
- Operate a bar incl. ability to change kegs and restock fridges
- Provide beverage service
- Provide table service of alcoholic beverages
- Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Maintain and update beverage knowledge
- Work with combined casual & volunteer workforce

The successful candidate(s) must have a good grasp of the English language, proven communication and problem-solving skills and be customer service focussed. Candidates should also be hardworking and punctual.
